1. Activated carbon
First of all you should know that it is more effective when the tartar layers are not as thick or old. You can get it easily in health food stores or herbalists, and all you have to do is brush your teeth with it. In addition to removing tartar you will see that it will bleach them.
2. Clove
There are two ways to use cloves to remove tartar: the first is to crush a little of it, stir it with your toothpaste and brush your teeth with said mixture; and the second is with crushed cloves mixed in water, as a mouthwash.
3. Say goodbye to certain foods
Unfortunately, in order to have a beautiful smile it is necessary to say goodbye to soda, coffee and black tea, in addition to quitting smoking. In case you can not stop consuming them, you should brush your teeth after ingesting them, thus avoiding tartar and turning yellowish.
4. Baking soda and coconut oil
It is a very simple remedy, just mix a little coconut oil with baking soda and form a paste that you will use to brush your teeth twice a day. Use this mixture for a little more than a week, do not use it for a longer time since bicarbonate can damage the natural enamel of the teeth.
5. Sage
What you will make is a tea with the sage leaves, moisten your toothbrush in the liquid and brush your teeth as usual. You can use the leftover infusion as a mouthwash.
6. Banana peel
Brush your teeth as you normally do, then take a piece of banana peel and carve your teeth with the inside; once you finish, wash your teeth again with toothpaste, and little by little you will see how tartar is removed.
7. Hydrogen peroxide
The use of hydrogen peroxide to remove dental tartar is an easy and effective way, you only have to dilute a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide in half a glass of water, moisten a piece of sterile gauze and rub it on your teeth. Do it 2 or 3 times a week and you will start to see results.
8. Parsley leaves
Probably this option will not please you as much but it is very effective. You just have to take some parsley leaves and chew them for a couple of minutes trying to make the paste that passes through all your teeth when you do it. Remember that you should not do it daily, a few times a week is more than enough.
